Sam Mills, the principal of wyomingland-acreage.com, began his career in real estate in 1979. Over 22 years ago he
made a decision to specialize in one area of the real estate industry...LAND!
His training was under the guidance and supervision of Tony Canu who began his real estate/land sales career in 1964.
In the beginning, Mr. Mills specialized in listing and selling smaller sized acreage (i.e. 1 to 20 acres)
focusing on the Los Angeles, Kern and San Bernardino Counties. Throughout the years he continued to list
and sell properties however, he also expanded into purchasing and subdividing properties. Through his forsight he made it possible for buyers to enjoy more flexible terms of sale than could be found in the traditional real estate market.
In the mid 1990’s, Mr Mills discovered that there was a market for much larger size parcels of inexpensive acreage located throughout the western United States and especially Wyoming. Since that time, not only have larger parcels become available for sale with lower prices per acre, the purchase terms have become even more flexible.
During this transition, Valerie Mills, (Sam’s wife) left her 15 year career as an office manager with
a well known land company and joined him in his endeavors. She brought her talents in administration and management and is
now an intricate part of the administrative aspect of the company.
